About the role

- Play a leading role in the ground engineering input to various challenging projects
Requirements
- Strong technical background and an excellent track record in project management
- Degree in civil engineering or geology
- Postgraduate qualification in a geotechnical subject
- Minimum of three years of experience post-chartered status, either as a geologist or civil engineer
- Experience in leading Geotechnical Design Projects for large infrastructure projects
- Extensive experience in the UK highways sector
- A strong academic background with a relevant degree (ideally MSc or equivalent as a minimum)
- Ideally chartered (CEng or CGeol) or able to demonstrate an equivalent level of competence
- Proven experience of acting in a senior role in a fast-moving engineering consultancy environment
- Project management experience and understanding of the engineering consultancy and design markets
- Proven geotechnical design experience
- Competent in use of leading geotechnical design software (GEO5, Oasys suite, GeoStudio, Plaxis, etc.)
- Application of CDM Regulations in a design and ground investigation environment
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
