About the role
- Oversee delivery of planning and environmental approvals from inception to delivery for Local and State Significant developments
- Develop understanding of Planning Team and broader SLR Technical Teams to win opportunities
- Market-facing role focused on renewable, construction materials and infrastructure sectors
- Deliver planning analysis with commercial acumen
- Lead and work with multidisciplinary teams to deliver projects
- Work closely with Management Team to drive team and company growth
- Conduct technical reviews and mentor junior staff
- Travel within NSW to undertake client meetings, site visits and regulator meetings
Requirements
- NSW REAP Accreditation
- Experience delivering NSW State Significant Development Applications
- 15+ years’ hands-on experience in town planning or equivalent
- Tertiary qualifications in town planning or equivalent
- Prior senior/leadership role within a consulting environment
- Highly proficient in business, client and project development
- Proven ability to mentor and develop junior staff
- Thorough understanding of project budgets and deliverables
- Willingness to travel within NSW for client meetings, site visits and regulator meetings
- Enthusiastic approach and positive attitude
