About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead a small but expert group of network specialists (~5) cross territory
- Focus on solution architecture for key projects
- Develop and support delivery against a long term roadmap
- Lead x-domain architecture with other HOs and Principals, inc. interface x-market and Sky/Comcast group
- Handle ad-hoc architecture support requests
- Lead ideation for operational improvements and efficiency
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experience leading a Telco architecture function
- Deep understanding of Telco disciplines & experience in a broad range of network technologies and vendors
- Experience with essential “non-transport” technologies
- Experience managing business cases, cost modelling and major procurement activities
- A broad understanding of Internet tech and context
