About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead administration and enhancement of Okta, including SSO, MFA, and Lifecycle Management strategies
- Develop and maintain automated workflows using Okta Workflows, REST APIs, and identity orchestration tools
- Contribute to enterprise IAM strategy, Zero Trust architecture, and RBAC policies
- Evaluate and lead technical onboarding of SaaS tools against security, compliance, and integration standards
- Partner with InfoSec, HRIS, and other business units
- Participate in incident response and root cause analysis; serve as escalation point for complex platform issues
- Contribute to enterprise systems roadmaps and tool selection
- Author technical standards, system configurations, and procedural runbooks
- Participate in an on-call rotation
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5+ years of experience in enterprise IT or systems engineering
- At least 2 years of deep, hands-on experience specifically in Okta administration
- Strong command of SSO protocols including SAML, OIDC, and OAuth
- Proven experience integrating and securing major SaaS platforms in a high-growth, regulated environment
- Proficiency with Python, PowerShell, Postman, and Okta Workflows
- Expert ability to work with REST APIs for system integration and data orchestration
- Extensive experience in an Agile, sprint-based environment
- Experience utilizing Jira for sprint planning and progress tracking
- Preferred: Okta Certified Professional or Administrator certification
- Preferred: Familiarity with identity governance tools or privileged access management
- Preferred: Experience with Terraform for cloud identity or SaaS configurations
- Preferred: Familiarity with ITSM frameworks and service delivery processes
