About the role
- Planning and management of investment projects for existing plants and storage facilities with a focus on electrical engineering and instrumentation & control (I&C) / measurement and control technology (MSR)
- Responsible for project implementation and for developing strategies to increase efficiency and effectiveness in investment activities
- Preparation of technical concepts, cost estimates and schedules
- Coordination of permitting engineering and execution planning for all required trades
- Technical leadership of the project team across the relevant disciplines
- Accountability for project budgets and progress
- Support in the procurement/tendering process and in related negotiations
- Site supervision and acceptance inspections, as well as coordination of external contractors
Requirements
- Degree from a university of applied sciences (Fachhochschule) in electrical engineering or a related discipline
- Several years of professional experience in a comparable position
- Business-oriented thinking and a proactive, assertive working style
- High degree of initiative and flexibility, and a strong sense of responsibility for safety (workplace and plant safety)
- Proficiency with MS Office; experience with CAD software and SAP is an advantage
- Good written and spoken English
