About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manages and leads a team of Communications Consultants (CCs)
- Responsible for client consulting, design and execution of benefits communication and education efforts
- Coaches high-level individual contributors on strategic consultation with clients
- Builds positive relationships with internal business partners and influences others to provide support
- Interacts with clients periodically to support CCs, help resolve issues, and compliance monitoring
- Brings innovative ideas and leads broad-based initiatives
- Recruits, leads, and develops a strong team
- Reviews key performance indicator metrics and trends
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s Degree – Required or equivalent with 12-15 years of experience
- 7+ years of management experience is required
- Experience in employee benefits communication and/or financial services required
- Series 7, 63 and 24 required or attained within 90 days of hire
- Strong leadership, facilitation, influencing, decision-making and team building skills
- Deep collaboration and partnership focus
- Client servicing skills and experience, including escalation management
- Change management experience
- Ability to hire, manage, coach, and develop a diverse team across multiple geographical locations
- Highly organized and able to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced, matrix management environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to think strategically and advise senior leaders.
