About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Deliver outstanding event experiences for the firm’s associates, clients, and prospects
- Experienced in project management, including creating and handling budgets, creating timelines and work plans
- Leading planning meetings and collaborating with business partners to drive toward results
- Keep stakeholders informed
- In command of sophisticated event logistics, including sourcing and handling speakers and vendors, and crafting production schedules
- Skilled at producing both in-person and virtual experiences
- Comfortable with digital environments and have a proven track record of crafting high quality events using various technology platforms
- Serve as an event project manager, crafting timelines, organizing planning meetings, collaborating with business partners
- Consult with senior management and colleagues regarding event strategy, objectives and program goals; making recommendations to achieve maximum impact for minimal spend
- Collaborate with the marketing, communications and product groups to ensure appropriateness of branding
- Design engaging relevant event experiences that resonate with attending audiences and achieve key business objectives
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- At least 7 years of related work experience
- Experience with Zoom Meeting and Zoom Video Webinar
- Experience with event registration systems and event mobile app platforms (Cvent)
- Knowledge and experience with live virtual event production including: lighting, audio, video, and technical direction
- Mastery of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word)
- Experience crafting well designed, yet concise presentation decks using PowerPoint
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including a command of proof reading
- Outstanding organizational skills
- Broadcast and/or digital marketing experience a plus
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and prioritize responsibilities
- Ability to handle and maintain confidential information
- Ability to work independently under own direction and initiative
- Ability to travel within the U.S. up to 30% and work flexible and/or fluctuating work hours
- Ability to manage people
