About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead the Business Marketing function as the central point of accountability for integrating business and marketing priorities
- Develop and execute comprehensive marketing plans and programs that align to business objectives and deliver measurable results
- Work in close collaboration with business leaders across product and segment teams to ensure marketing strategies are tightly connected to business goals, customer needs, and growth priorities
- Drive alignment across strategy, planning, and execution to create consistent, high-impact outcomes
- Evolve an audience-first messaging strategy across the Fidelity consumer portfolio
- Orchestrate integrated marketing across paid, owned, and earned channels to support customer acquisition, retention, engagement, and loyalty
- Define how offerings are positioned and brought to market across customer segments and lifecycle stages
- Guide the development of strategic and creative work, and ensure coordinated execution across all marketing touchpoints
- Lead and develop a high-performing team, including a direct report responsible for overseeing the strategy and development of the firm’s loyalty program
Requirements
What you’ll need- 15+ years of progressive marketing experience, with demonstrated success leading integrated, multi-channel marketing (paid, owned, and earned) in complex organizations
- Proven marketing leader with strong experience owning end-to-end marketing strategy, planning, and execution aligned to business goals
- Strong strategic thinker with the ability to translate business objectives, performance insights, and customer needs into actionable marketing programs
- Experienced people leader who builds, coaches, and develops high-performing teams with clear accountability and growth focus
- Demonstrated ability to build trusted partnerships and collaborate effectively across business, product, and segment leadership teams
- Deep understanding of customer insights, research, and analytics, with an ability to apply data to inform decisions and optimize performance
- Track record of delivering customer-centric experiences that drive acquisition, engagement, retention, and loyalty, ideally within financial services or similarly complex industries
- Strong cross-functional leadership skills, with the ability to influence and align stakeholders across marketing, product, analytics, and senior executive levels
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly structure recommendations, influence decisions, and present to executive audiences
