About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Engage with partners across business, analytics, and technical teams to enable easier access to improved data analytics
Provide greater insights and decision-making capabilities to support strategic initiatives
Work closely with a highly skilled, multidisciplinary team, fostering strong collaboration across Fidelity Technology
Ensure timely delivery and successful outcomes
Part of our Portfolio and Program team in Enterprise Data and AI that oversees data and AI portfolios and execution of large, complex cross BU strategic initiatives
Contribute daily to making a difference in Fidelity’s technology advancement

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree
4-6 years of related experience in data analysis, or data engineering, or a master’s degree and 3-5 years of relevant experience
Expertise in leading data or BI related projects in the areas of requirements gathering, analysis, interpretation and translating them to data solutions
Ability to effectively define use cases and simplify complex concepts
Experience decomposing complex work into digestible work elements within an agile environment
Familiarity with Jira / Jira Align is a plus
Solid data analysis and data profiling skills with a solid understanding of SQL or Python
Able to independently wrangle datasets to obtain insights and translate those into valuable business insights using BI visualizations
Familiarity with Alteryx, Power BI and ML approaches, an advantage
Working experience with enterprise data lakes and Cloud data platforms such as Snowflake
Ability to communicate sophisticated concepts effectively to a variety of audiences, both technical and non-technical
Experience navigating integrated enterprise data and working across multi-functional teams
Ability to identify analytics insights and make stakeholder recommendations on the benefits and shortcomings of each insight
Passion for continuous learning, mastering new skills, and keeping abreast of the latest innovations across data analytics
Effective communicator with a good ability to cultivate relationships
Superb communication and presentation skills.
