About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Join our Enterprise Data and AI Database Platform team as a Senior Cloud Database Platform Engineer.
Skilled in multiple databases, database administrative services and replication, cloud data platforms, CI/CD and Dev Assist tools.
Develop IAC automation pipelines using CFT and OpenTofu.
Work with enterprise teams - Systems Administrators, Cyber Security and Capacity Planning groups.

Requirements

What you’ll need

BS in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology or equivalent desirable.
Expertise and experience in at least two of the following: Postgres, Oracle, AeroSpike, Yugabyte, or other NoSQL or Open Source platforms.
Experienced with managing DB in cloud platforms primarily on AWS, Azure including managed services in RDS and Azure Flex.
Experience in DB performance analysis and SQL tuning, both in Oracle and other RDBMS.
Experience in managing Data tools such as Golden Gate, RAC, Q Rep, dataguard, and other replication tools.
Scripting experience preferred.
Experienced working with Jenkins, Artifactory and Dev Assist tools.
Prefer Ability to develop automation pipelines using CFT and Open Tofu.
Ability to quickly diagnose the problem areas and come up with solutions and/or workarounds.
Participate in 24X7 on call rotation schedule for various production support, database maintenance, housekeeping and installs.
