About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • responsible for setting and driving the enterprise sourcing strategy for Fidelity Investments in collaboration with our internal business partners
  • leads end‑to‑end category management across a portfolio of spend
  • drives measurable value creation and builds a high‑performing sourcing organization aligned to business priorities
  • partners closely with executive stakeholders, finance, legal, risk, and business unit leaders
  • ensures sourcing strategies enable growth, manage risk, and optimize total cost of ownership while maintaining strong vendor relationships, accountability and governance
  • leads the development and execution of multi‑year category strategies aligned to business objectives, financial targets, and risk tolerance
  • drives value creation through cost optimization, demand management, vendor innovation, and commercial excellence
  • coordinates complex, high‑value sourcing initiatives including RFPs, negotiations, and vendor transitions

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred
  • 15+ years of demonstrated ability in strategic sourcing, procurement, category management or commensurate experience within a large, complex organization
  • Demonstrated experience leading enterprise-scale category portfolios and managing significant spend
  • Proven success building and leading large, distributed teams with multiple layers of leadership
  • Strong executive presence with the ability to influence and partner at the C-suite level
  • Deep experience in strategic negotiations, contract management, and vendor relationship management
  • Experience operating in regulated environments is strongly preferred
