Provide critical systems and business support on a global team using a Mainframe & Distributed technology stack
Play a critical role in providing a top-shelf service experience for clients
Build and maintain collaborative global relationships with partners in technology and support organizations

Requirements

What you’ll need

A bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Software engineering or related field
8+ years of hands-on experience with mainframe platforms
Demonstrated support on a critical mainframe environment, using COBOL, DB2, CICS, JCL, MQ-Series, SQL, and VSAM files
Experience in mainframe performance tuning and capacity planning
Experience in navigating in an Oracle database environment for triage purposes
File format and comparison using File-AID; version management using Endeavor; debugging and unit testing using Intertest and Abend-AID; and job scheduling using Control-M
Ability to debug and reproduce issues in lower pre-production environments
Ability to multi-task and stay organized in a dynamic work environment while meeting results
Knowledge of ETL, Informatica, Java, Python, or other distributed languages is preferred
Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
Experience with monitoring systems such as CloudWatch, Datadog/Splunk, ELK stack
Knowledge of financial services or equity compensation would be a plus
Ability to quickly learn new concepts and technologies to support day to day operations
Demonstrate ability to form trusted working relationships with business unit stakeholders through collaboration and enhanced effective communications
