About the role

  • Join a team focused on engineering testing solutions for the Fidelity Insurance Agency (FIA) product area
  • Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve Fidelity investments software solutions
  • Support your team in adopting best practices to ensure product quality
  • Collaborate with team members on enhancing test coverage, release velocity, and production health
  • Actively participate in development processes by writing and maintaining application features and automated tests including unit tests, component tests, integration tests, and more.

Requirements

  • 12 + years experience with a Bachelor’s or 6 + years experience with a Master’s degree in Computer Science (or closely related field)
  • Experience in designing and implementing robust QA strategies and test frameworks for API, Web with deep expertise in end-to-end validation
  • Experience in test automation (Playwright/Cypress, Selenium, Rest Assured, JUnit, Test NG, Maven, ETL Batch)
  • Experience with DevOps/Pipelines (Jenkins Core, LWC, Monorepo, etc.)
  • Experience with source control (GitHub, Stash (Bitbucket), Sourcetree)
  • Minimum 6 years of experience with architecting automation test platforms
  • Minimum 6 years of experience with architecting and implementing development pipelines (CI / CD)
  • Good understanding of accessibility features and building and testing accessible experiences on Web
  • Good understanding on write SQL queries and implementing the data seeding for automation.
