About the role

  • Developing and delivering client specific enhancements on our Legacy Application to support our Plan Administration System.
  • Significant collaboration with members of various business and IT groups throughout the lifecycle of a typical project.
  • Administering equity compensation programs and supporting software applications on a mainframe platform running under a Z/OS environment.
  • Defining, developing, and leading an interactive team to implement scalable application solutions.
  • Providing on-site and on-call support as needed and acting as a subject matter expert as part of a cross-functional crisis management team.
  • Resolving technical roadblocks involving multiple technologies and making recommendations and improvements to avoid them in the future.
  • Establishing full project life cycle plans for complex projects across multiple platforms.
  • Advising on risk assessment and risk management strategies for projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and five or more (5+) years of experience in the job offered or five or more (5+) years of experience as a technical lead in mainframe brokerage or stock plan services systems and application development.
  • Alternatively, Master’s degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or three (3) years of experience as a technical lead in mainframe brokerage and stock plan services systems and application development.
  • Knowledge of ETL, Informatica, Java, Python, or other distributed languages is a plus
