About the role

  • Responsible for assessing how new investments and changing requirements affect the regulatory reports and filings produced by the Shareholder Reporting Team.
  • Evaluate complex instruments (e.g., derivatives, short securities, alternative and digital assets), emerging regulatory changes, and complex and innovative products.
  • Assemble critical information and coordinate analyses for production team leads to interpret impacts.
  • Create requirement summaries to inform the Shareholder Reporting staff and to highlight impacted products and deliverables.
  • Facilitate meetings and collaborate with internal team leaders to capture operational demands of new requirements.
  • Summarize and communicate impacts of new requirements to Senior Management and key business partners.
  • Coordinate and maintain documentation for ongoing reference and support implementation of new processes.
  • Coordinate and deliver training to improve understanding of new and changing requirements among staff.
  • Demonstrate initiative in growing knowledge to support readiness for new changes impacting the business.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
  • 8+ years of experience preferred including financial services experience with an asset manager, audit firm or custodian bank, preferably in administration for investment funds.
  • CPA preferred
  • Familiarity with regulatory reports and filings for investment companies including their operational support processes.
  • Investment product knowledge including investment structures and their regulatory and compliance frameworks.
  • Research skills including the ability to capture information about a topic, review that information and analyze and interpret the details in a way to support a solution.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with an ability to manage multiple, concurrent high priority assignments and deadlines.
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills.
  • Proficiency in various PC software applications including Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Power BI preferred.
