About the role
- Build and manage the cloud platform
- Marry full-stack software engineering skills with hands-on cloud development
- Collaborate with architects to design and build foundational cloud components and frameworks
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in a technology related field (e.g. Engineering, Computer Science, etc.)
- 5+ years of software engineering experience
- Certifications preferred: AWS Solutions Architect, AWS Developer, or Kubernetes Application Developer.
- Ability to triage, execute root cause analysis, and be decisive under pressure.
- Solid understanding/experience in storage, containers, serverless architecture/framework, cloud IAM controls and policies.
- Hands-on experience building and deploying applications using a variety of Amazon Web Services (primarily Cloud Formation).
- Proficient in object-oriented programming with REST API development and AWS resource provisioning with Python.
- Strong understanding of Kubernetes concepts/ecosystem and deploying applications into EKS.
- Proficiency with CI/CD tools, especially Jenkins.
- Experience leveraging DevAssist tools to improve development velocity and team productivity.
