About the role

  • Part of a squad responsible for MQ and multi-site infrastructure software development and maintenance.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation for all software owned by the team.
  • Work with the team leads and stakeholders from other organizations to help prioritize the backlog and plan out major initiatives.

Requirements

  • BS/BA Degree or equivalent experience preferred
  • 8+ years of mainframe application development experience which utilize CICS, DB2, MQ
  • Experience designing, building, deploying, and supporting mainframe applications.
  • Expertise with the following: CICS, COBOL, VSAM, MQ, SQL, CPSM, VSAM RLS, CAFC, COBOL native stored procedures, Abend Aid and Intertest
  • Knowledge in Assembler, REXX, JCL, JAVA, IIDR replication, Control-M a plus
