About the role
- Lead the transformation of Fidelity’s legacy file transfer environment into a modern, cloud-ready platform.
- Drive the development of self-service capabilities and automation to improve scalability and reduce operational friction.
- Collaborate with architecture, engineering, and business partners to define and execute strategic technology roadmaps.
- Ensure operational excellence through proactive monitoring, incident management, and continuous improvement.
- Build and mentor a high-performing team, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and collaboration.
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders to understand needs, resolve issues, and deliver value.
Requirements
- Proven experience in leading large-scale systems engineering or infrastructure modernization initiatives.
- Strong technical background with hands-on experience in data transmission technologies, file transfer protocols, and cloud-native infrastructure.
- Experience managing and developing high-performing teams.
- Release management and on-call production support experience.
- Automation, batch, and data support experience using JCL, TSO, SQL, ISPF, Control-M, and Python.
- Demonstrated success in driving operational transformation and process automation.
- Familiarity with IBM mainframe, distributed application architecture, and CSP services.
- Strategic thinker with a bias for action and a passion for delivering business impact through technology.
