About the role

  • Support bond portfolio management and trading products for Fixed Income
  • Partner closely with investment teams, quants, portfolio managers, traders, and analysts
  • Build new and innovative tools to support and improve investment processes
  • Deliver time-to-market solutions in an exploratory, highly iterative environment
  • Collaborate with Architecture, Data Services, Cloud Platform teams to design and implement solutions
  • Improve performance and scalability of applications and workflows
  • Provide outstanding support, including rotational on-call support
  • Work with technologies including AWS, Angular, Java, Python, REST/API, PL/SQL, HTML, Kafka

Requirements

  • BS or MS in Computer Science or related degree
  • 8+ years of experience in software engineering
  • 2+ years of experience as a technical lead
  • Proven experience in a full stack software development environment
  • Understanding of and experience within an Agile/Scrum framework preferred
  • Experience as a technical lead supporting multiple teams
  • Experience with UI tech stack/Single Page Applications: HTML, JavaScript and Angular
  • Experience in Micro Frontend architecture
  • Deep knowledge of middleware Java stack, Spring framework, Oracle
  • Experience with messaging technologies (EMS or KAFKA) and RESTful APIs
  • Comfortable developing Angular based UIs and Java based middle tier services
  • Familiarity with cloud providers like Amazon Web Services
  • Passion to learn Asset Management and Fixed Income domains
  • Self-motivated, client-focused, results-orientated
