About the role
- Alternative Accounting Manager role overseeing accounting operations for Fidelity’s Alternative investment products.
- Provide direction, leadership, support; act as primary contact for daily operational needs.
- Review daily deliverables, oversee initiatives, evaluate business performance, manage relationships.
- Hands-on operations support for complex alternative funds and process/procedure development.
- Prior experience with digital assets preferred but not required.
- Coach and develop staff; collaborate with FFIO teams and senior members with autonomy.
- Expertise in valuation, investor allocations, complex expense calculations; review portfolio activity.
- Support product development, implementation, and ongoing accounting for alternative products.
- Part of Fund Operations division supporting back office functions including pricing, bookkeeping, reporting, tax.
- Hybrid working model—onsite every other week typically; business governed by multiple US securities laws.
