Key responsibilities & impact

Translate business needs into requirements, ensuring functionalities and rules align with client expectations, applicable legislation, and the project scope
Communicate requirements to the development team
Ensure relevant client communication regarding deliveries
Review business and product needs, instructions, regulations, and laws for complex projects
Implement changes in the software using intermediate-level programming skills, perform testing, and provide client support as needed
Create business scenarios to be translated into test scenarios for product quality assurance
Own the relationship with internal and external clients, using a structured requirements documentation process to assess short-, mid-, and long-term needs
Adhere to metrics to ensure customer satisfaction
Ensure change management and team communication for changes are handled systematically for complex projects and/or product maintenance/evolution
Implement process or product improvements as indicated by management
Develop a strong awareness and understanding of Thomson Reuters technologies, products, and services within the designated area
Define business rules for the creation of new products and/or updates to existing products

Requirements

What you’ll need

Logical and abstract thinking
Clear, objective, and transparent communication
Ability to capture and translate journey understandings focused on: customer needs, process optimization, and development flow
Preparation of requirements artifacts for development, including functional and non-functional requirements
Knowledge of requirements management and support tools
WebHelp/User Manuals/FAQs
Knowledge of tax solutions and tax compliance
Experience in Tax business (tax calculation, statutory filings, accounting)
Experience as a Business Analyst and/or Functional Consultant
Ability to follow and interpret tax legislation (updates and new laws)
Experience working with Agile methodology
Teamwork and collaboration skills
Knowledge of SAP TDF/DRC and SAP ERP
