About the role
- Act as the Product Owner in the team’s day-to-day activities, ensuring clarity of requirements and correct prioritization.
- Lead and participate in agile ceremonies: refinement, planning, daily stand-ups, review and retrospective.
- Write and elaborate user stories, acceptance criteria and use cases.
- Monitor the progress of deliveries, risks, impediments and sprint evolution.
- Ensure continuous communication with the Product Manager, providing visibility into status, decisions, gaps and relevant events.
- Support backlog management and organization, keeping it updated, coherent and prioritized according to strategy.
- Coordinate or support activities related to product development, including technical and operational alignments.
- Monitor team metrics (velocity, burndown, lead time, capacity, etc.) and report on sprint progress.
- Support structuring the team’s user stories with the project roadmap in mind.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Product Owner or in an equivalent role within agile teams.
- Strong practice in writing user stories, defining acceptance criteria and performing technical-functional refinement.
- Knowledge of and experience with agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
- Clear communication skills with both technical and business stakeholders.
- Experience working on digital product projects.
- Experience in financial environments or projects subject to strict regulatory requirements (preferred).
- Familiarity with multidisciplinary squads and products under development (preferred).
- Ability to diagnose operational issues, propose solutions and support quick decision-making (preferred).
- Experience with integration projects involving partners (preferred).
