About the role

  • Develop Java applications (back-end and front-end), including data manipulation using SQL.
  • Contribute to the maintenance of Java Desktop applications and back-end systems.
  • Participate in technical meetings and collaborate on issue resolution.
  • Apply development best practices and code versioning.
  • Perform customizations and sustainment/support of applications and products.
  • Work with web development, OOP, databases and development tools.
  • Solve complex problems and tasks, especially in legacy systems.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a technology-related field focused on systems analysis and development.
  • Java (v8+): strong command of the language and coding best practices.
  • SQL Server: experience with stored procedures and functions.
  • Spring Framework (microservices): advanced knowledge and practical experience with Spring Boot.
  • Front-end (Angular or React): strong proficiency in one of these frameworks for building user interfaces.
  • Experience with: Git (GitHub and TFS-Git)
  • Maven
  • SonarQube
  • Jenkins CI/CD
  • JavaFX
  • HTML, CSS, JavaScript
  • Deep understanding of both technology and business.
  • Analytical ability to justify decisions based on data.
  • Leadership, communication and complex problem-solving skills.
