About the role
- Understand and apply technology governance frameworks, policies, and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and internal security policies.
- Monitor and ensure adherence to governance policies across all technology systems.
- Oversee application and system security, ensuring protection against vulnerabilities and threats.
- Collaborate with security teams to conduct risk assessments, audits, and penetration tests.
- Respond to and manage security incidents, ensuring proper resolution and documentation.
- Coordinate and support internal and external audits related to technology systems and processes.
- Prepare and present reports on compliance, security, and governance metrics to stakeholders.
- Manage the application lifecycle, including installation, configuration, maintenance, and decommissioning.
- Handle and process requests related to security, systems administration, and governance.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience in technology governance, security, or systems administration.
- Relevant certifications such as CISA, CISM, CISSP, or ITIL are a plus.
- Experience with audit processes and tools.
- Proficiency in systems administration (Windows, Linux, or cloud environments).
- Familiarity with application management and security best practices.
- Understanding of regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, SOX, HIPAA).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
