About the role

  • Negotiation and conclusion of procurement contracts in the areas of engineering/investments, maintenance, warehouse and IT
  • Conducting tenders and procurement negotiations in coordination with specialist departments for technical goods and services
  • Supplier qualification and selection
  • Analysis and optimization of procurement processes with respect to quality, costs and delivery times
  • Monitoring purchase prices through market and cost analyses
  • Execution of procurement-related projects
  • Managing and further developing purchasing relationships with suppliers and external service providers, including ensuring smooth delivery
  • Evaluating the use of new technologies, manufacturing processes, materials and suppliers in collaboration with engineering, maintenance and production departments
  • Support in the area of raw materials and consumables
  • Cross-site improvement of internal processes
  • Participation in budget planning for maintenance and technical projects

Requirements

  • Completed commercial or technical vocational training (e.g., industrial clerk, technician, or equivalent)
  • Ideally several years of professional experience in a comparable position and practical procurement experience
  • Negotiation skills and assertiveness
  • Analytical thinking and cost awareness
  • Team player with strong communication skills
  • Independent, structured and solution-oriented working style
  • Technical understanding and interest in production processes
