About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory and compliance requirements for all Firm attorneys
  • Monitor bar admissions, registrations, and renewals
  • Review and track attorneys’ Continuing Legal Education (CLE) requirements
  • Update and maintain the Legal Policy Handbook
  • Collaborate with the Office of General Counsel (OGC) on related matters
  • Lead efforts to streamline and enhance compliance processes focusing on automation, efficiency, and continuous improvement
  • Contribute to the development and execution of the Legal Talent department’s technology strategy
  • Administer policies relevant to Legal Talent
  • Conduct regular audits/assessments in collaboration with the OGC
  • Review and monitor attorney files for accuracy and completeness
  • Respond to internal and external surveys and RFPs

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 6-8 years of comparable experience in Legal Talent or Human Resources at a law firm strongly preferred
  • Strong oral and written communication skills are essential
  • Must possess superior judgment and the ability to deal discreetly with confidential information
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to engage across technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Collaborative, detail-oriented, and results-driven with a passion for legal innovation
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (including Excel and Powerpoint) and other software including Workday and viDesktop is required
  • Bachelor’s degree required; Advanced degrees or certifications in human resources, professional development or related fields are preferred.
