About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

You independently handle motor vehicle and personal injury claims across all liability areas (motor vehicle and private liability)
You clarify case facts, assess them and proactively provide appropriate support to our customers
You assess and provide well-founded explanations of coverage and liability issues tailored to the intended audience
You determine fair and accurate compensation payments
You reliably identify and pursue recourse (subrogation) claims
You are in constant communication with other Simpego teams, external clients and service providers
You actively contribute your knowledge and experience to claims projects
You are motivated to further develop your professional expertise and continuously learn new things

Requirements

What you’ll need

Ideally, you have completed an apprenticeship or vocational qualification in insurance
You have experience in personal injury claims
You have at least three years' experience handling claims
You are communicative and committed, with strong customer orientation and a hands-on mentality
You enjoy working in a small, goal-focused team
You are intrinsically motivated and solution-oriented
You remain calm even in hectic situations
You embrace change and progress and are versatile and flexible
You are confident using MS Office and enjoy engaging with new technologies and solutions
You have excellent German and French language skills. Italian and/or English are an advantage
