About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support Simmons Adaptive clients with a broad range of employment law work
- Advise on HR matters and day-to-day employment law queries
- Draft and review contracts, policies, and handbooks
- Manage disciplinary, grievance, and performance issues
- Advise on redundancies, restructures, and TUPE
- Handle discrimination, equality, and diversity matters
- Work on employment tribunal claims
- Draft and negotiate settlement agreements
- Train clients on employment law and best practice
- Engage regularly with a sponsoring Partner and client team during assignments
Requirements
What you’ll need- Qualified lawyer
- Solid employment law experience, ideally gained in a leading private practice or in-house environment
- Problem-solving ability
- Collaborative approach
- Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-moving environment
- Ability to work quickly and effectively to tight deadlines
- Excellent organisational skills
- Ability to effectively prioritise workloads
- Ability to work autonomously and collaborate as part of the wider team
- Relevant right to work in the UK
- Visa sponsorship is not available
- Successful recruits must complete the firm's background screening process
