About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Advising on brand clearance and protection strategies.
- Trade mark prosecution and portfolio management.
- Handling contentious matters including opposition, invalidity and revocation proceedings, enforcement actions and online brand protection programmes.
- Working closely with partners and colleagues across the wider IP practice.
- Supporting clients across a diverse range of industries while delivering commercially focused, pragmatic advice.
- Significant client exposure, responsibility and the opportunity to develop within a collaborative and growing international team.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Chartered Trade Mark Attorney with between 1–6 years' PQE.
- Proven experience advising on UK and EU trade mark matters.
- Experience gained within private practice, either in a law firm or trade mark attorney firm.
- Strong academic credentials.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple matters and client portfolios effectively.
- Strong client focus and a commercial, pragmatic approach to delivering advice.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Able to work effectively as part of a diverse and inclusive team.
- Capable of building strong professional relationships and developing networks both internally and externally.
- Interest in business development and contributing to the continued growth of a leading international brands practice.
