About the role

Build clean, scalable, and maintainable frontend applications and backend services for GoSpotCheck Core
Create intuitive user interfaces that enable users to solve complex tasks
Evaluate and implement modern technologies and drive best practices across the full stack
Implement scalable workflows, reporting, and data pipelines to turn survey data into actionable reports
Deliver high-quality, performant products with focus on speed, dependability, and overall performance
Mentor and coach colleagues across frontend and backend development
Architect solutions and make technical decisions from conception to execution
Collaborate with Agile teams, designers, and product managers to innovate the product and customer experience

3+ years of professional experience with exposure to both frontend and backend development
Broad experience with several languages, frameworks and programming paradigms
Practice automated testing across the full stack (unit, integration, UI, systems-level)
Solid experience with Ruby on Rails, Go/Golang, Kubernetes, and serverless functions
Expertise in gRPC and/or RESTful APIs and service-oriented architecture
Experience with Postgres, OpenSearch, Google Cloud, Docker, and Agile practices
Experience with event-driven architecture (Kafka, Pub/Sub, or similar)
At least 2+ years of React experience, including Hooks, Context, and component architecture
Proficiency with TypeScript for large-scale applications
Experience with componentized frontend development and reusable UI components
Experience with testing frameworks, particularly Cypress, and CI environments
Ability to work autonomously on lean teams and mentor others
