About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design, build, and manage Azure cloud infrastructure to support business and operational requirements
- Lead and execute migration of on‑prem workloads into Azure, including re‑architecture when necessary to meet operational, security, or cost requirements
- Define and maintain practical hybrid architecture patterns connecting legacy on‑prem systems with Azure services
- Automate provisioning, configuration, and deployment using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, and PowerShell
- Build and maintain robust monitoring and observability using LogicMonitor, Azure Monitor, and similar tools
- Partner with security teams to apply cloud governance, identity controls, and security best practices
- Perform root cause analysis and drive long-term remediation actions
- Own day‑to‑day technical decisions for Azure and hybrid infrastructure within agreed standards and priorities
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field with 5+ years of IT infrastructure experience, with a focus on Azure; or equivalent experience
- Master’s degree with 3+ years of relevant experience
- Equivalent experience includes 5+ years of hands‑on IT infrastructure experience, including Azure engineering, DevOps practices, and Microsoft‑based on‑prem server environments
- Proficiency with PowerShell, Python, Bash, or similar languages for automation and infrastructure management
- Experience with cloud infrastructure, infrastructure‑as‑code, and modern DevOps tooling
- Solid understanding of hybrid networking, core protocols, routing, firewalls, and troubleshooting methodologies
- Hands-on experience with Intune/ SCCM/MECM or similar configuration management tools is advantageous
- Strong analytical skills, the ability to troubleshoot complex issues, and a customer‑focused mindset
