About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Work in our Professional Services organization as part of a multi-disciplinary consulting practice that delivers solutions using a wide variety of technologies and solutions, including: SDWAN, SDDC, Overlay network topologies, traditional 3 tier network topologies, Public cloud interconnects and topology design, and Network Security design and implementations
Develop and deliver technology solutions for customers, with an exceptionally high focus on quality
Work closely with other Burwood Group project team members
Build strong and continuous relationships with our clients, becoming their go-to advisor
Provide training and knowledge transfer to clients to ensure they are able to successfully maintain solutions post-implementation
Act as a mentor and provide technical guidance to peers
Stay current on market trends, technologies and best practices.

Requirements

What you’ll need

7-10 years of technical delivery experience and enterprise architecture preferably with a fortune 1000 company or consulting organization
Strong understanding of network architectures, solutions, processes, frameworks, and components
Analytical and consultative conversations, adept at identifying and solving problems
Passion for technology and keeping informed of market trends, solution insights and vendor roadmaps
Experience working with project managers to establish a project plan and managing a team of technical resources in a customer environment
Engage at the CxO and Director/Manager levels as well as manage tasks on engagements of limited size and duration
Proven track record of exceeding customer expectations and anticipating their needs
Ability to quickly adapt to a fast-paced sales and quality-based delivery model
Work in a team-based environment and self-manage your time
Excellent communications skills whether that be in-person, over-the-phone or e-mail
Willing to travel for limited engagement requirements approximately 25% of the time
Expert level proficiency in designing and delivery of enterprise level Data Center L3/L2 technologies with Cisco, HPE/Aruba, Juniper, and Palo Alto products
Experience deploying enterprise level SDN technologies, including Cisco ACI or Arista and SDWAN products, Viptella , Palo Alto, HPE/Aruba EdgeConnect , Fortinet, and/or Cisco Catalyst
Solid understanding of Data Center and Public Cloud interconnects, including MPLS and VPLS
Proven hands-on experience working with campus network products from Cisco, Arista or Aruba.
Candidates with the following skills are a plus: Wireless products from Cisco or Aruba, Cisco ISE or Aruba Clearpass, any of CCIE R/S, ACMX, or ACDX, CCNP Security certification, Palo Alto PCSNE certification.
