About the role

  • Administration of the server landscape, primarily consisting of Oracle and HP hardware
  • Administration, updating and further development of Oracle and VMware virtualization platforms
  • Experience working with container technologies (Docker)
  • Administration of various software systems such as Tomcat, Atlassian Suite and GitLab
  • Solid knowledge of monitoring and managing complex monitoring matrices
  • Support for the expansion and review of emergency management and disaster recovery processes (including backups)
  • Handling network-related issues and reviewing current security standards
  • Supporting the team with 2nd/3rd level requests and advising our application management

Requirements

  • Completed vocational training or a degree in IT
  • Solid administrative experience with complex and heterogeneous environments
  • Ideally experience with regulatory requirements in the financial sector / KVG (e.g., MaRisk KAIT, GDPR) as well as in service and change management processes
  • Structured working style, analytical skills and creative, interconnected thinking
  • Ability to present complex issues clearly and confidently, both verbally and in writing
  • Experience in teamwork and cross-team documentation (Confluence)
