About the role
- Design, develop, and implement large-scale distributed systems capable of handling substantial data volumes with scalability, low latency, and fault tolerance
- Architect and implement APIs and event-driven solutions to meet system requirements and enhance functionality
- Diagnose and resolve complex production issues across services and technology stack, delivering both code and data fixes
- Create and execute comprehensive unit, API, regression, and performance tests to ensure system reliability and efficiency
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to address and resolve production incidents promptly, ensuring minimal downtime
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in software development
- Proficiency in Java with expertise in frameworks such as Spring Boot WebFlux and Hibernate (AuroraDB)
- Hands-on experience with GraphQL
- Familiarity with AWS and EKS
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and related tools
- Experience designing, building, and deploying scalable, highly available systems
- Knowledge of event-driven architectures and at least one event streaming solution (e.g., Kafka, SNS)
- Proficiency in SQL and NoSQL databases
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills, with English proficiency at C1 level or higher.
- Experience with microservices architecture
- Experience with containerization tools such as Docker
- Familiarity with monitoring tools like Prometheus and Grafana
- Prior work in e-commerce or marketplace platforms
