- Work across the Ethereum ecosystem, including Layer 2s
Requirements
What you’ll need- Write high-performance Rust and enjoy squeezing latency out of critical paths (profiling, flamegraphs, allocator choices, async/runtime tuning, lock contention, cache locality, zero-copy where it matters).
- Have deep EVM knowledge, including transaction execution mechanics (gas accounting, calldata/memory/storage semantics), state access patterns, and the practical implications of opcodes and precompiles for real-world workloads.
- Understand the MEV ecosystem end-to-end, from proposer/builder separation and relays to private orderflow, builder strategies, and the incentives that shape behaviour in production networks.
- Have done MEV searching yourself (or built MEV-adjacent systems).
- Are familiar with the transaction supply chain, including mempool dynamics, propagation/latency effects, private RPCs, orderflow providers, builders/relays.
- Are passionate about Ethereum, proof-of-stake blockchains, and/or decentralised systems
