About the role

  • Be part of a development team responsible for a product
  • Develop and implement logic using ABAP in a dedicated namespace
  • Develop and expose OData services for consumption by SAPUI5 applications
  • Interact daily with other Developers (web, apps, backend/integration), Product Owners, DevOps, and Quality Analysts
  • Participate in the technical definition of integrations between SAP and web systems
  • Work with Agile methodology in Sprints
  • Develop and validate features
  • Learn, teach, and create standards

Requirements

  • Strong experience in ABAP development (Classes, Interfaces, RFC, Reports, BAPIs, Tables, Structures)
  • Knowledge of object-oriented programming (ABAP OO)
  • Experience creating and maintaining OData services (SEGW)
  • Experience in system integration (RESTful and APIs)
  • Technical English
  • Experience working with SAP PM modules
  • Familiarity with the S/4HANA ecosystem
  • Knowledge of SAPUI5 and Fiori
  • Experience and knowledge of JavaScript
  • Experience developing software products for industrial (B2B) segments
  • Agile development methodology
  • Experience with Atlassian Jira for software project management
