About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Maintain machines and equipment to ensure production processes are reliable and consistent.
Supports installation and rearranges complex equipment.
Diagnoses equipment failure as instructed by supervision.
Dismantle, repair, and reassemble complex equipment.
Performs work in the mechanic skilled area such as fabrication, assembly, welding, burning, cutting, and pipe fitting, as instructed by supervision.
Occasionally performs work in other trades as instructed by supervision.
Completes all assigned work orders in CMMS at the time of completion with notes.
Uses typical mechanics tools and inspection gages.
Have Basic Electrical knowledge, know to use a voltage meter.
Have Basic Hydraulic usage knowledge.
Works from drawings, verbal instructions, or sketches.
Uses shop math.
Cleans debris and lubricant from parts, work area, and equipment.
Operates production equipment to check work as required.

Requirements

What you’ll need

High School Diploma required.
A 2-year technical degree or equivalent work experience in a related field preferred.
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in an industrial, manufacturing, or machine maintenance role preferred.
Background in electro‑mechanical and pneumatic systems for automated equipment.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Stainless steel welding and fabrication experience is a plus.
Experience with equipment building or prototyping is a plus.
Ability to work with and understand AC and DC voltage.
Ability to interpret plans, drawings, and technical specifications.
Ability to work with limited supervision and follow both oral and written instructions.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain effective working relationships
