About the role

  • Administer, configure and perform troubleshooting on Fortinet, HP and Dell switches
  • Manage and operate Fortinet firewalls, including security policies, VPNs and traffic control
  • Monitor the infrastructure using Zabbix and Grafana, analyzing metrics, alerts and service availability
  • Ensure high availability of internet and WAN links, responding quickly to incidents to keep links operational
  • Liaise with and follow up on technical tickets with NOCs and telecom carriers, performing fault analysis and escalations
  • Work with network protocols such as STP, OSPF and BGP, including route analysis, convergence and loop prevention
  • Perform advanced troubleshooting on switches and networks, identifying bottlenecks and physical or logical failures
  • Act as higher-level support (Level 2 / Level 3) on network-related requests, assisting support teams when deeper technical analysis is required
  • Support Office 365 environments, including connectivity and authentication
  • Support multi-factor authentication (MFA) solutions, such as Duo Security and Microsoft Authenticator
  • Work on-site when required, with availability to travel to the Data Center to perform physical interventions, tests and validations
  • Document procedures, network topologies and incidents, contributing to continuous improvement of the environment

Requirements

  • Proven experience in corporate network infrastructure
  • Hands-on knowledge of Fortinet, HP and Dell switches
  • Experience with Fortinet firewalls
  • Strong understanding of STP, OSPF and BGP concepts and operation
  • Experience with monitoring using Zabbix and Grafana
  • Knowledge of Office 365
  • Experience with MFA solutions (Duo, Microsoft Authenticator or similar)
  • Experience troubleshooting networks in critical environments
  • Analytical and investigative mindset
  • Ability to perform under pressure during critical incidents
  • Good communication skills for interaction with NOC, vendors and internal teams
  • Proactivity and a strong sense of responsibility
  • Organization and discipline for technical documentation
