About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Work across the full software development lifecycle, from requirements analysis and architecture definition to coding, testing, maintenance, and evolution of solutions.
- Develop and maintain high-quality code, investigate and fix defects, and implement improvements and changes requested by internal and external stakeholders, ensuring stability, performance, and reliability.
- Collaborate with technical teams and clients to define requirements and scope, produce technical documentation, integrate and validate deliveries via version control and unit testing, and work in an agile environment following best practices in architecture and development.
- Contribute to technological innovation by conducting technical research, proposing new ideas, process improvements, and initiatives that may lead to patents.
- Provide technical support to partners and colleagues, share knowledge, estimate effort, identify technical risks, and contribute to the technical excellence and quality of SiDi projects, including possible participation in activities and business trips to collaborate with external teams.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Proven experience with Java and Kotlin
- Proven experience with the Android SDK (especially with Activities, BroadcastReceivers, and ContentProviders)
- Experience with Android Jetpack components
- Experience building Services in Android
- Knowledge of design patterns and architectures such as MVC and MVVM
- Experience with solutions that communicate with other applications
- Experience with databases (SQL and NoSQL)
- Knowledge of unit testing
- Basic knowledge of application security and privacy
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Systems Analysis, Information Systems, or a related field
- Advanced English for reading, writing, and speaking
