About the role
- Work across the full software development lifecycle, from requirements analysis and architecture definition to coding, testing, maintenance and ongoing evolution of solutions.
- Write code following best practices, investigate and resolve defects, implement improvements and changes requested by internal and external clients, ensuring software quality and stability.
- Actively collaborate with clients and technical teams to define scope, validate solutions, integrate features and apply agile methodologies.
- Share knowledge, provide technical support to partners and colleagues, perform code reviews and contribute to the team’s technical growth.
- Participate in innovation initiatives by proposing new ideas, projects and patents, evaluating feasibility of innovative solutions and contributing to SiDi’s technical excellence.
- Support continuous improvement of processes, technical estimates, risk management and quality activities, including occasional national and international travel for collaboration and knowledge transfer.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of Java and Kotlin
- Prior experience in Technical Leadership – ability to lead the technical team and drive strategic technical decisions
- Experience with Android SDK (especially WorkManager, BroadcastReceivers, ContentProviders)
- Experience with Android Jetpack components
- Experience creating Services on Android
- Knowledge of design patterns and architectures such as MVC and MVVM
- Experience with solutions that communicate with other applications
- Experience with databases (SQL and NoSQL)
- Knowledge of text indexing and search
- Knowledge of performance analysis and application optimization
- Knowledge of unit testing
- Basic understanding of application security and privacy
- Familiarity with unit tests and instrumented tests
- Experience with AI: training and validation of models, use of LLMs
- Knowledge of NLP and semantic search
