About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Oversee a squad of 5 engineers in the Customer Journey team
  • Shape the first impressions that freelancers and entrepreneurs have of Shine
  • Provide technical support for scalability and seamless customer onboarding
  • Engage in technical intricacies and support team members with implementations

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Proven track record in team leadership, ideally in multicultural, hypergrowth environments
  • Solid background in software engineering (ideally Node.js/TypeScript/React, microservices and domain driven design)
  • Comfortable with distributed and event-driven systems, cloud environments (GCP/AWS)
  • Experience in fintech, banking, or regulated environments is a significant plus.
