About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Follow all proper policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure patient safety
  • Inform the patient of all aspects of their exam
  • Ensure patient is cleared of all contraindications and hazards
  • Accurately position the patient and ensure their comfort
  • Maintain visual and verbal contact with the patient during the exam
  • Perform scan in accordance to center’s protocol
  • Administer intravenous contrast
  • Complete all forms pertaining to patient’s exam
  • Record patient data to Tech Data Entry program
  • Provide and issue films/CD when appropriate

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Prior MRI scanning experience
  • MRI/ARRT/CPR certifications
  • Fantastic interpersonal skills
  • ARMRIT certification accepted at some locations
  • Ability to assist patients with mobility difficulties
  • Ability to push, pull, and lift a minimum of twenty-five pounds
