About the role

  • Own delivery of client projects on budget and on time
  • Manage the PM team
  • Relentlessly drive for resources needed to meet the timeline, raise flags as per the designated escalation plan
  • Consistently pursue budget clarity, for both work already completed as well as work that has yet to be done
  • Oversee the PM team and rigorously identify change requests (increase to scope, changes in assumptions, etc) from clients
  • Clearly communicate the budget and timeline implications to the client to ensure alignment before accepting the change request
  • Be able to say “no” to a client regarding a change request if it negatively impacts delivery for other client projects
  • Deliver work items on time, in order to maintain the overall project timeline
  • Work with the production team to manage accurate resource planning
  • Develop and maintain project plans for each client project

Requirements

  • 5+ years of PM experience in eCommerce with a focus on Shopify clients
  • Experience leading projects/teams where revenue is in excess of $500,000 combined at a time
  • Proven experience leading other PMs is a plus
  • Agile experience, SCRUM master preferred
  • Experience with Gantt charts and SWOT analysis techniques
  • Ability to speak effectively on ROI, Gap, and SWOT analysis
  • Proven track record of deliverability on projects with time and budget (references required)
  • Knowledge of Jira is preferred
  • Exceptional communication and organizational skills
  • 5+ year project management tools (Jira and Atlassian)
  • 5+ years of experience in Google or MS Suite
