About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Conduct functional testing to verify that software features work as intended.
  • Perform regression testing to ensure new updates do not introduce issues in existing functionality.
  • Develop and execute test cases, test plans, and test scripts based on system requirements.
  • Identify, document, and track bugs and defects using issue-tracking tools.
  • Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and other team members to clarify requirements, test results, and defects.
  • Participate in test planning, reviews, and process improvement discussions.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Candidate must be U.S. Citizen
  • Candidate must have Active DoD Secret Clearance at minimum
  • Candidate must have bachelor's Degree
  • Candidate must have ability to obtain and maintain US government Common Access Card (CAC)
  • Candidate must be able to obtain SIPRNet access and willing to travel to and access SIPR facilities as required
  • Candidate must have 7+ years' experience with the following:
  • Software testing methodologies, including functional and regression testing.
  • Writing clear and concise test cases and bug reports.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to think critically about software behavior.
  • Working with test management tools and issue-tracking systems (e.g., Jira, TestRail, or similar).
