About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Selects or advises in the selection of a technical method and technical components for delivering various types of training content.
- Defines or participates in defining the target audience; conducts need assessments; performs assessment analyses and task analyses and determines training requirements.
- Utilizes home grown SharePoint site to manage trainings and registrations.
- Supervises implementation of the selected delivery methods.
- Develops curriculum, including learning objectives, creates course blueprints, and supervises creation of content.
- Oversees development of courseware, including lesson plans, student guides, instructor guides, user manuals, and tests.
- Evaluates and validates instructional materials.
- Performs trainings remotely (or on-site as needed)
- Collects relevant class data and provides a monthly update with those metrics
- Develops, maintains, and administers Tip Sheets and SharePoint sites for the Center to educate and provide step by step guides on how to utilize various types of software.
- Serves as a SME for testing and developing documentation to support various software initiatives that are usually new to the Center.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum Candidate Requirements
- Candidate must be a U.S. Citizen
- Candidate must have an active DOD Secret Clearance
- Candidate must have at least 5 years’ experience with the following:
- Serving in a training role which required developing the curriculum and all associated training materials and then training the class in both a remote and in-person environment
- Basic SharePoint skills to maintain and develop sites that are list based (not requiring workflows)
- In depth knowledge of Microsoft products to include Office and Teams
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Exceptional Organizational and Time Management skills
- Ability to problem solve and work independently
