About the role

  • Manage the tracking and oversight of a service-based software installation/development project.
  • This includes managing budgets and schedules, forecasting weekly and monthly through project end, and resource allocation.
  • As the central point of contact with a customer, the project manager is required to manage customer expectations.
  • Facilitate problem-solving of complex software issues with subject matter experts.
  • Provides project management advice and assistance to department management and personnel.
  • Chairs various project review and pre-sale meetings and support.
  • Assist in developing departmental plans, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures

Requirements

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience managing full life cycle software or software implementation projects.
  • Strong working knowledge of PowerPoint and Word
  • Experience in the banking or loan servicing industry
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Project and Excel
  • A background in technical project management
  • Communication Proficiency
  • Problem Solving/Analysis
  • Experience with Agile methodology
  • Knowledge of Confluence
  • Knowledge of Jira
  • Plus is knowledge of Visual Basic Scripting or XML, or HTML
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • PMI – Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) (or equivalent)
  • PMI - Project Management Professional (PMP) (or equivalent)
Benefits
  • This is a full-time position.
  • Days of work are Monday through Friday.
  • The daily schedule may vary from 7 am – 4 pm, 8 am – 5 pm, or 9 am – 6 pm, and occasional after-hours or weekend work may be required.
  • Travel Up to 30% Travel – Domestic only
