About the role
- Represent Set Free Alaska at community events, recovery gatherings, outreach activities, and collaborative meetings to strengthen SFA’s presence and partnerships.
- Assist in planning, coordinating, and supporting recovery-oriented events, or activities that promote engagement with SFA.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with community agencies, recovery partners, and stakeholders to support client access to recovery resources and services.
- Serve as a liaison between SFA and community partners.
- Engage individuals in recovery by fostering connection between SFA programs, peer support, and community-based recovery networks.
- Collaborate with internal SFA teams to support coordination and operational needs of recovery-focused programming.
- Maintain accurate documentation related to community engagement activities, partnerships, and outreach efforts.
- Model and promote SFA’s mission, values, and recovery-oriented approach in all interactions with clients, staff, and community partners.
Requirements
- Two (2) years’ experience interacting & participating in the recovery community and the Behavioral Health field
- A current valid driver’s license
- A safe, reliable vehicle
- Experience in event planning and administration
