About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Carry out post-hire return inspections, testing, and recertification of offshore containers and lifting sets as a designated person of competence
- Undertake preventative maintenance tasks on CCUs to maintain asset functionality and aesthetics
- Support CCM by maintaining fleet availability targets
- Cycle count fleet and consumable stock levels
- Liaise with vendors to prioritize asset repairs and refurbishment according to planned objectives
- Return inspect assets upon return from hire
- Perform 12-month visual inspection certification of CCUs and slings
- Perform 6-month sling inspections and colour coding
- Record defects and fleet grade in the Taghub system
- Grease hinges and lashing points
- Prepare and touch up exposed metal surfaces
- Replace asset decals
- Remove damaged slings and shackles from CCUs and fit replacements
- QC check assets returned from repair or refurbishment
- Complete asset dispatch checklists
