About the role

  • Point of contact for all employment-law questions from our employees, managers and HR colleagues
  • Managing dismissal/termination disputes
  • Advising on mobile-work-abroad scenarios and on temporary and permanent work from abroad for a German company
  • Assessing labor, social security, tax and immigration law risks in an international context
  • Liaison with external lawyers, consultants and authorities
  • Designing and delivering labor law training
  • Supporting national and international due diligences
  • Drafting and continuously updating employment contract templates in line with current law and case law
  • Contributing to varied projects
  • Preparing policies, guidelines and internal job aids

Requirements

  • Law degree (Diploma or State Examination) successfully completed
  • At least 2 years of relevant professional experience, ideally in an HR environment
  • Strong knowledge of individual employment law
  • Know-how in immigration, social security and tax law
  • Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)
  • Excellent spoken and written English
  • Independent, structured and precise working style
  • Team player with an empathetic and assertive personality
  • Flexible and resilient, capable of working under pressure
