About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Assist in organizing, checking and filing legal documents
- Conduct case law and legal doctrine research to support ongoing matters
- Assist in drafting reports, legal opinions and internal controls under the guidance of the responsible team
- Provide support in drafting and organizing petitions, contracts and other legal documents
- Assist in monitoring procedural deadlines and updating the team's controls and calendars
- Support preparation of documents and materials needed for meetings, hearings and other appointments
- Assist in communications and in responding to requests related to ongoing cases
- Perform external diligences, including filings and follow-up of matters at courts, registries and other agencies
- Keep records, documents and information under your responsibility up to date
- Ensure the confidentiality of information and documents you have access to
- Comply with procedures and guidelines established by the area, contributing to the organization, quality and efficiency of legal activities
Requirements
What you’ll need- High school diploma
- University degree
- Availability to work in a hybrid model
- Knowledge of or interest in administrative and legal routines
- Ability to organize documents, controls, records and calendars
- Maintain confidentiality when handling information and documents
